Flying Animal Toys
Flying Monkeys, Flying Pig, Flying Chicken and Flying Frog !
The Slingshot Flying Monkey is totally outrageous Fun!
The soft, furry monkey certainly looks the part with his cape and mask, like some sort of super hero monkey.
Choose the one with sound and, as an added bonus, every time you shoot him, he lets out two loud monkey calls.
I ordered it, thinking it would be the ultimate office toy . . . The conversation with my son, upon opening the parcel, started something like this . . .
“Is It A Bird?
Is It A Plane?
No, It’s A Flying Monkey with a Yellow Cape ! Who Says Monkeys Can’t Fly?”
At this point I think he’d come to the conclusion that I’d finally lost the plot !
However, as we were soon to discover, the slingshot flying monkey, or more like flingshot, screams as he flies through the air – he’s a superfly monkey!
The same goes for the others in this range of catapults, too, though with the flying chicken (rooster) it ’s more like ‘cock-a-doodle-do‘, a ‘squeal‘ of delight from the pig and when the frog flies he ‘Ribbits‘ . . .
Flying toys and gadgets are becoming something of a feature in our home as we have flying toys for outdoors and a clock that flies indoors.
By placing your fingers beneath the chicken’s jowl, the pig’s or monkey’s paws, or the frog’s legs (!) you can pull back and catapult these across huge distances.
The flying pig is unsurprisingly very pink, the “rooster” a bright yellow & comes raring to crow (!) but I chose the monkey dressed like a superhero, complete with cape & a mask . . .
The toys’ arms / legs (or neck in the case of the chicken) are stretchy so you can get good leverage to fling your monkey, chicken, pig or frog.
About an hour or so AFTER I thought we’d BOTH finished playing . . . whilst I was quietly sitting reading the newspaper . . . wonder-frog screeched overhead before perching on the rubber plant in the conservatory . . . There were giggles coming from the doorway when someone should have been in bed.
The Flying Monkey is the Must-Have Toy for any Serious Mischief-Maker, as owned by a like-minded individual in our house!
