The (early) morning rise after the night before has not been one of my strong points.
Over the years I’ve tried numerous funky alarm clocks and I now have a few favorite alarm clock gadgets to chose from.

Whether you’re a fan of telephone alarm clocks, football alarm clocks or even flying alarm clocks (!) there’s are twists on a theme to suit most boystoys choices. So if you’ve been doing an “alarm clocks uk” search I hope my reviews will be helpful.
My childhood favorite used to be a basic alarm clock radio – red LED display . . . with old AM radio, mock wood effect and VERY retro 80’s ! It was marketed as a digital alarm clock (for the display) but in reality had an analogue radio . . . Time has a habit of moving on and recently I’ve enjoyed experiencing a Logic3 iStation Alarm Clock Radio (for my iPod), a Sony ICF-C1IPMK2 Speaker Dock and Clock Radio (whilst staying with relatives – iPod and mp3 compatible), and my son’s flying alarm clock!
All have their relative merits and all perform the task of getting me out of bed. Although the flying alarm was very entertaining it was only on trial in my room for a week or so . . . I had to give it back to him, unfortunately.
I did return the favor with the Logic3 (excellent sound quality) and it looks like Santa’s next list has been updated to include a Sony Speaker Dock Clock for the little man . . .
Whether you’re after a simple travel alarm clock or one for the bedroom with DAB Digital Radio there has never been so much choices.
The clock is ticking so I’m off to set my alarm for tomorrow.
